Zip Accounting Founded in 2023
After working as an auditor within an accounting firm for 5 years, Rachel subsequently moved into industry where she spent nearly 10 years working within finance teams for large companies. Whilst the experience was pivotal for her progression, Rachel found she missed working with smaller businesses and individuals.
With that backdrop, Rachel founded Zip Accounting at the end of 2023 with the aim of using her accounting expertise and commercial knowledge to help business owners in the UK.

Zip Accounting strives to relieve the pressure of finance for businesses, providing a tailored approach to clients based on their individual needs and circumstances—believing that every business faces unique challenges.
Having spoken to many small business owners and charities over the years, Rachel understands the headache that accounting and tax can be, and seeks to be a helping hand.
Qualifications & Certifications
Rachel is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). She is also a certified expert in QuickBooks (advanced), offering bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT return services compliant with Making Tax Digital.
Wider Network & Support
The world of tax for SMEs in the UK is a minefield and an ever-shifting landscape. UK tax remains an area of considerable complexity. As a sole practitioner, Rachel stays up-to-date with the latest UK tax laws and rates, accounting skills and techniques within the industry through CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and regular training provided by her Accounting Body, the ICAEW.
Zip Accounting also has access to a number of tax consultants on hand to advise on tricky or niche areas of tax and VAT where required, or to provide a second opinion on a complex matter.
